Welcome to SEBIDA 3.2 (sex bias database), a database for the functional and evolutionary analysis of sex-biased genes. Sebida integrates data from multiple microarray and RNA-seq studies comparing male versus female gene expression in D. melanogaster, D. simulans, and A. gambiae. In addition to the ratio of male to female (or testes to ovaries) expression for each gene, Sebida provides information useful for evolutionary studies, including measures of recombination, codon bias, and interspecific divergence.
